Your information matters
Website privacy notice.
This notice describes our Coming Soon pages, existing hosting statistics and enquiries. Prepared 12 October 2026.
Who we are
SnapAttic Ltd · registered in Scotland · company number SC904292
Registered office: 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 4AN.
SnapAttic Ltd is responsible for this website and the information used to handle enquiries. Contact admin@snapattic.co.uk about privacy or your information.
Our Coming Soon pages
These pages introduce SnapAttic while we prepare for public app launch. They do not register app accounts, accept item photographs, take payments or activate subscriptions or referral rewards.
The Coming Soon page code adds no cookies, local or session storage, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, advertising tags, embedded social feeds or external fonts. Menu and FAQ interactions are not sent to an analytics service.
Hosting and security records
IONOS hosts the website. Serving and protecting it involves technical request information, including the requested URL or file, access time, response details, referring page where supplied, browser/device information and IP address. These records support delivery, reliability, troubleshooting and security. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website.
IONOS publishes an eight-week retention period for visitor logs in its Web Hosting data-processing information. This is a provider-published period for that data category, not a promise that all statistics, security records or backups have the same lifetime.
IONOS SiteAnalytics visitor statistics
Our existing hosting also provides IONOS SiteAnalytics reports. This statistical processing is separate from using records to secure and deliver the site. Reports help us understand overall website use and improve its content and technical performance.
The statistical data includes the referring page, requested page or file, browser/version, operating system, device type, access time and an anonymised IP address used to estimate the location of access. IONOS says it anonymises IP addresses immediately after transmission and SiteAnalytics does not use cookies.
The hosting has access logs; our Coming Soon pages contain no SiteAnalytics pixel or analytics script. IONOS’s SiteAnalytics privacy information does not give a separate retention period for statistical reports. We do not promise that they have the same retention period as hosting logs.
Where this processing involves personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage to improve the website. We do not use reports to identify visitors, build advertising profiles or make decisions about particular people.
Older WordPress pages
Existing policy pages remain served by WordPress. Their public emoji compatibility cache and fallback loader have been disabled; ordinary browser emoji rendering remains. Their display and navigation scripts differ from the Coming Soon templates.
Emailing us
We receive your email address, message, message details and attachments you choose to send. Our published IONOS address forwards to Kevin’s monitored Gmail inbox, so IONOS and Google handle messages through their email services.
We use relevant enquiry information to reply and keep necessary correspondence, relying on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the company. We review correspondence for removal when it is no longer needed, subject to necessary legal or business record keeping and provider backup arrangements. Enquiry senders are not added to a marketing list without a separate choice.
Your rights and objections
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information, object to its use and obtain a portable copy where applicable. Email admin@snapattic.co.uk to object to processing based on legitimate interests or ask about retention. We review requests and may need to verify ownership.
This email route does not automatically switch off IONOS’s hosting logs or statistics. We will explain the available response to your request. A particular visitor cannot be identified or removed from genuinely anonymous aggregate totals.
You can raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Future services and changes
This is website information, not the app’s account, photograph, AI-processing, subscription or referral privacy policy. App-specific information will be provided before public app launch.
No additional advertising or third-party analytics trackers are being activated for these Coming Soon pages. Before adding a technology that requires consent or a simple objection control, we will assess it, explain it and implement the required working controls. An email link is not presented as a device-tracking opt-out.
